Technical Recruiter – Cyber Security Focus

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter with a strong network and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity talent landscape. Based in our Farmington Hills, MI office, this on-site role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier technical talent, with a primary focus on cybersecurity professionals. You’ll play a key role in shaping our technical workforce by proactively identifying qualified candidates, cultivating relationships, and partnering with hiring managers to fill roles efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle recruiting for technical positions, particularly in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud roles
• Source and attract high-quality passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, social media, Boolean searches, referrals, and networking events
• Leverage your vast talent network to quickly connect with in-demand cybersecurity professionals
• Conduct detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
• Write compelling job postings and promote openings to maximize visibility and applicant quality
• Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit
• Coordinate interview scheduling and manage communication between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information
• Stay informed on cybersecurity recruiting trends, competitor hiring activity, and compensation benchmarks
• Represent Netarx at industry events, local tech meetups, and virtual conferences as a brand ambassador

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity roles
• Proven success sourcing and hiring technical professionals in competitive markets
• Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, and other sourcing platforms
• Demonstrated ability to proactively hunt and engage passive candidates
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and cybersecurity skills/terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, results-driven, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working on-site in Farmington Hills, MI in a collaborative office environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience hiring for MSPs, enterprise security teams, or defense-related cybersecurity positions
• Background in recruiting for cloud, DevOps, or IT infrastructure roles in addition to cybersecurity
• Prior experience working in fast-paced or startup-like environments
